About Me
My name is Carly and I'm a theater artist specializing in scenic painting. I am located in Cincinnati, OH. In my free time, I enjoy dancing, oil painting, and playing video games. I graduated with a major in Production Design and Technology at Ohio University with a focus on scenic painting. I also got a minor in Studio Art with an emphasis in oil painting. Since then, I have completed The Juilliard School's professional apprenticeship for Scenic Painting. I'm always looking to learn new things. Let's work together!
​Artist Statement
Growing up, I was surrounded by creativity. My mother worked as the manager of a theater, which led me to be heavily influenced by the atmosphere of theatrical storytelling. I fell in love with both drawing and theater at a young age. In college, I discovered I could combine both of my passions by painting for the theater. My mission is to share my love for creating with the world. I'm passionate about teaching others and creating a space for people to feel welcomed and confident.
